Ponderspace

A space for the things you're curious about

Every Ponderspace search enriches our shared Knowledge Hubs. When a person, organization, idea, paper, book, podcast or other meaningful entity appears in a rabbit hole, relevant new sources and connections are added to its existing Hub. Over time, thousands of curiosity journeys build richer, living knowledge around the things people care about. Rabbit holes are individual journeys. Hubs are the shared, accumulated memory of what those journeys uncover.

I’ve always been the kind of person who can start with a simple question and accidentally disappear down a rabbit hole for hours. The problem is that the internet is great at giving you answers, but terrible at helping you explore a question as a journey. You end up jumping between Google, YouTube, podcasts, papers, articles and Wikipedia — finding interesting things, but losing the thread along the way. That’s why I built Ponderspace. You start with a question in your own words. Ponderspace finds things worth your attention, connects the ideas between them, and lets you decide how deep you want to go — from a quick listen and an aha to papers and primary sources. And the rabbit hole stays with you. As you explore, it becomes a collection of the people, ideas and discoveries you encountered. Those become living Knowledge Hubs that get richer as more questions are explored. The idea is simple: your curiosity is worth taking seriously. I’d love to hear what you think — especially what you’d want Ponderspace to help you explore.

Who hunted Ponderspace?

Ponderspace was hunted by Nikolai Pyke. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
