PomoSauna
A Pomodoro timer in a sauna. Nothing to keep up with.
A monk sits in a sauna. Start a session and the room fills with steam while a ring holds the time; when it ends, a bell opens the waterfall and he cools beneath it. A Live Activity keeps time on the Lock Screen. No account, no streaks, no stats, no ads. Free.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
Most focus timers want something from you. A streak to keep, a chart to improve, a badge, an account, a nudge when you skipped a day. I wanted one that asks for nothing and is simply nice to have on the table while I work.
PomoSauna is a Pomodoro timer in a sauna. A monk sits in the steam while you focus, and a ring holds the time. When the phase ends, a bell opens the waterfall and he cools beneath it while you rest. Then the heat again. That is the whole app.
A few things that are not obvious from the screenshots:
▸ **It keeps time while you look away.** A Live Activity counts down on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island without the app running, and the cue still sounds at every phase change with the phone face down. The timer stores when each phase ends rather than ticking, so nothing drifts while iOS has the app suspended.
▸ **Or just sit.** Relaxation is one continuous session with ambient sound: no countdown, no cue, nothing to finish.
▸ **What it does not do is the design.** No account, no streaks, no statistics, no badges, no reminders to come back, no ads. The app has no opinion about the days you skip.
▸ **There is no music in the launch video.** Every sound in it is one the app ships — the fire crackle, the löyly, the temple bell, the flowing water — placed where the app plays them. And every frame is the app itself, widened to fill the screen with its own colours.
It started as a small web toy (https://dadachi.github.io/pomosa...) and became a native iPhone app. Free on the App Store, iOS 26.
I would love to hear what you would change about the room.
