I ve build PolyTake because i was tired of "send me the clips". The idea came to me at a baby reveal party. Everyone was filming, and the host had to ask everyone to send over the videos they made afterwards. I built PolyTake, an app that lets you connect your iPhones and film something together. At the end, the host gets a fully edited version using everyone’s footage and perspectives. Everything's peer-to-peer, the phones just sync clocks with each other over local Wi-Fi and then all start recording at the same scheduled moment. Nothing ever leaves the devices. No login, no cloud storage, no profile, no more “send me the files please.” Friends always join for free. Everything stays on your iPhone.
