PolyShorts
Turn long videos into viral Shorts with AI captions
Upload a podcast, lecture or vlog. PolyShorts finds the best moments, reframes them to 9:16 around the speaker and adds animated word-by-word captions in 50+ languages.
I built PolyShorts because most clip tools are made for English. If your podcast, class or stream is in Hindi, Arabic, Spanish or a mix of languages, the captions come out broken and the "viral moments" picks miss the point.
What it does:
🎬 You upload a long video (up to 4 hours) and AI picks the best moments
📱 It turns them into vertical 9:16 Shorts, with face tracking to keep the speaker in frame
💬 It adds word-by-word captions in many languages, with proper rendering for scripts like Hindi and Arabic
🌍 It can translate the captions so one video reaches viewers in other languages
🔇 It works on videos with no talking too: for silent screen recordings or gameplay, it finds the key moments from the visuals
✂️ A simple editor lets you trim, change caption styles and adjust speed, then download in 1080p
Free plan: 1 video and 2 Shorts, no card needed. Paid plans start at $15/mo.
I'm a solo maker and this is day one, so I'd love your honest feedback:
👉 Which language should I test and tune next?
👉 What's missing before you'd swap your current clipping tool for this?
I'll be here all day answering every comment. Thanks for checking it out 🙏
