Why I built this: I like reading web novels and fan fiction from Chinese, Korean, and Japanese sources — a lot of it never makes it to English. I built Polyread to read it with AI translation.
Who it's for: readers looking for more translated web novels and fan fiction in English.
What's free today: everything. Reading has no paywall — AI-translated chapters, a personal library, cross-device progress, new-chapter notifications. A subscription removes ads and adds a few perks (daily Gems/Coins, translation discounts, priority requests) — it doesn't unlock content.
What I'd love feedback on: discovery — finding the right novel when you don't know the exact title going in — and translation readability. Both are rough edges I'm actively working on.
