Hello Product Hunters! 👋
I'm Michał, a Product Designer with a passion for developing AI-powered products.
Around 15 years ago, I became obsessed with a Flash game called Pokémon Tower Defense. Years later after Flash went extinct, Pokémon Tower Defense was also gone, forever lost to memory.
This made me determined to start recreating this feeling from zero.
PokeTD is not another remake. It is my take on the genre. This free browser-based Pokémon Tower Defense game uses nostalgia of the original while integrating modern systems and online features.
The project became my playground for experimentation with AI-assisted development, product design, game mechanics and backend development as a solo creator.
The game is now in Open Beta phase and I am on the lookout for ideas, feedback and bug reports from all Pokémon fans out there.
If you loved tower defense games as much as me, or if you have heard of the original Pokémon Tower Defense, I hope this makes you feel nostalgic again.
