Hi Product Hunt 👋 We built PodView because podcasts are distributed everywhere, but the relationship with the audience usually belongs to someone else. Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube are great places to listen, but they give creators limited control over discovery, branding and the people who engage with their work. Meanwhile, building and maintaining a proper podcast website still involves too much manual work. So we built PodView as the owned home for a podcast. Enter your show name, paste an RSS feed, or add a YouTube channel, and PodView generates the complete website automatically. You can preview the actual site before creating an account: no generic demo and no credit card. From there, PodView keeps new episodes, artwork and show information synchronized automatically. It supports audio and video episodes, transcripts, clickable chapters, searchable episode archives, custom domains and podcast-specific themes. But we wanted to go beyond simply publishing episode pages. PodView helps turn anonymous listeners into an audience creators can reach again through email signup, reviews, contact forms, lead magnets and voicemail. It also shows website plays, completion and drop-off, so creators can understand what people actually listen to rather than seeing only a download count. One of the areas we are most excited about is AI discovery. AI assistants already summarize podcasts, recommend episodes and reuse ideas from them. PodView creates clean, machine-readable versions of the show and lets creators guide how assistants describe their podcast, which episodes they cite and which topics or takeaways they associate with it. And because the website lives on your domain and your subscriber and guest data can be exported, you are not locked into PodView. PodView started as a simple RSS-to-website tool. It has evolved into something closer to an audience and discovery layer for podcasts, while staying easy enough to launch in minutes. We’d love your feedback: - Does the generated site feel like a real home for the show? - And which matters more to you: owning the audience, understanding listening behavior, or improving discovery in search and AI? Thanks for checking it out! Francesco

Who hunted PodView?

PodView was hunted by Francesco Baschieri. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
