Sitting up straight shouldn’t require a chair worth hundreds, a new device, or a nagging reminder once every hour. PodPosture turns the AirPods (or any Bluetooth buds) you already wear into a real-time posture coach that gently cues you the second you slump.
Hello Product Hunt! Your AirPods just became the posture police.
I’m Andreas, an iOS/macOS engineer who spends way too many hours hunched over Xcode.
I built PodPosture in 2021 to fix my own “gamer/coder posture,” but the project took on new meaning when my dad’s Parkinson’s made good posture critical for balance and living pain free. Version 2.0 is my attempt to share that benefit with anyone who codes, studies, or manages a condition that affects posture.
🪑 The problem: Ergonomic chairs and wearables are expensive, cameras feel creepy, and we still forget to sit up straight.
🎧 The solution: PodPosture turns the motion sensor in AirPods or plain Bluetooth signal strength from any earbuds, into a real-time coach that chimes the instant you slump.
For launch week 100% of PodPosture Pro revenue goes to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
Better posture for you, more Parkinson’s research for everyone. 💪🧠
If you ever catch yourself slouching, give PodPosture a spin and let me know how it feels.
Any feedback would mean the world.

PodPosture was hunted by Andreas Ink. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
