Please Fix Clanker
Copy PR comments into clanker-ready prompts
Please Fix Clanker is a Chrome extension for GitHub pull requests that turns review comments into clean, ready-to-use prompts for AI coding workers. It adds a “Copy AI prompt” button directly beside PR comments, then packages the review feedback with useful context like repository metadata, PR title, comment URL, author, file path, line number, nearby diff context, thread replies, PR description, and latest commit SHA when enabled.
I built Please Fix Clanker because I kept seeing the same workflow break down: someone leaves a useful GitHub PR review comment, then you have to manually explain the comment, the surrounding code, the PR context, and the actual ask to an AI coding agent.
Please Fix Clanker adds a small button to GitHub PR comments that copies a clean, worker-ready prompt with the review comment, nearby code, PR metadata, and optional thread context. No backend, no AI API calls, no dashboard. It just packages the context and puts it on your clipboard.
You can customize the prompt (and button of course) to your liking.
The goal is simple: make review feedback easier to hand off to Codex, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or any other coding agent without losing the nuance of the original discussion.
I’d love feedback from teams already using AI agents in their PR review loop:
- What context do you usually have to add manually?
- Would you want stricter templates, or more control over the copied prompt?
- Are there other review surfaces besides GitHub PRs where this would be useful?
Thanks for checking it out.
