Plateful plans your meals, writes a full recipe for each one, and turns the week into one shopping list sorted by aisle. Turn down a meal and it replaces it. It works to your diet, your household and your time limit.
I built Plateful because I like to plan my week, but i'm lazy, and decided to make AI do something useful for a change.
Plateful takes the planning off your hands. Tell it how many days, which meals, who's eating and how long you want to spend cooking. It plans the meals, writes a full recipe for every one, and turns the lot into a single shopping list.
What it does for you:
• Plans breakfasts, lunches and dinners for your household, with adults and children counted separately
• Shows you each meal as it's planned. Turn one down and a replacement arrives straight away, and it won't offer that dish again
• Writes a proper recipe for everything you keep: quantities in grams, numbered steps, no waffle
• Builds one shopping list for the whole plan, grouped by aisle, with quantities added up across meals, ready to share with whoever is shopping
• Plans around what's already in your kitchen
• Keeps to your diet and your cooking-time limit, from 15 minutes to an hour and a half
Food you can't eat gets its own list, separate from your diet. Add "nuts" and Plateful also watches for pesto and satay. Every meal and recipe is checked against that list, and anything that slips through is flagged in red instead of hidden. It's a careful filter on an AI, not a medical guarantee, so please still read the ingredients.
No account, no sign-in, no adverts. Your plans stay on your phone. The details of your request go to Google's AI to write the plan, and Plateful asks before it sends anything the first time.
It's free to use: three-day plans, full recipes and the shopping list. Plateful Plus plans up to fourteen days at a time and can rewrite any recipe or a whole plan.
The recipes are written by an AI. It's good and it isn't perfect, so check cooking times. There's a report button on every meal card, and I read every report.
