Growing up playing open-world video games, one of my favorite mechanics was discovering new areas and watching the map slowly fill in as I explored.
One day I wondered: what if we had that for the real world?
So I built PlanetLog: a personal scratch map of everywhere you've explored. Search for any place you've visited, mark it as explored, and watch your own map of the world gradually come to life. Then share your unique PlanetLog with others and compare your journeys.
It's a simple way to visualize your travels, keep a record of the places you've been, and see just how much of the planet you've explored.
