Hi all. I built Plan Forecast because the data to answer "will my council approve this?" is public and nobody reads it: every English council publishes its decided applications and the notices saying why a refusal was refused.
It reads those registers, 100,000 decisions so far from six councils with five more on the way, and tells you how often your kind of work was approved near your postcode and what the refusals were about. The forecast is free. The £29 report has the comparable decisions near you with a link to each council's own notice.
The unusual bits: it runs on a 2017 gaming PC under my desk, a local model reads the notices so there are no API costs, no person's name is stored anywhere, and the crawler stops the moment a council says 403. The figures on the site are checked against the government's own statistics before a council is sold.
I'd like to know what you'd want to see in the report before paying for it.
