Plainly
Your Google Analytics, finally in plain English.
Google Analytics is the most powerful free tool on the internet — and the most confusing. Plainly fixes that. Connect GA4 in one click. Pick a date range. Get a 60-second plain-English read-out: what changed, why it likely changed, and exactly what to do next. Powered by Claude Sonnet 4.5. Built for non-technical owners, freelancers, and agencies. Unlimited analyses + automatic Monday-morning email reports. $18/mo or $199/yr. $79/mo for agencies with white-label client reports.
I built Plainly because I watched too many small business owners avoid their own data. Not because they didn't care — but because GA4 is genuinely overwhelming if you're not an analyst. Every conversation went the same way:
"Yeah I have Google Analytics installed."
"What do the numbers say?"
"…honestly, I have no idea."
That's the problem. The data is right there. The story is buried.
Plainly connects to Google Analytics in one click and uses Claude Sonnet 4.5 to translate the numbers into a 60-second read-out — what changed, the most likely reason, and a specific next step. Then it emails you a fresh one every Monday morning so the loop closes itself.
A few things I deliberately chose:
→ No charts to decode. Just the answer.
→ Read-only access. Plainly can't touch your Analytics, only read.
→ The AI cites real numbers and dates instead of guessing — and is explicitly told not to hedge with words like "might" or "appears to."
→ Agency plan ($79/mo) lets consultants white-label the reports for clients.
This is my first product launch and I'd love your honest feedback. Curious what jumps out for you:
— Does the read-out style actually make sense?
— What's a metric or pattern in your GA4 you wish someone would just explain?
— What would make you trust an AI to tell you what's happening in your business?

Who hunted Plainly?
Plainly was hunted by Nicholas. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
