Top comment

I built Pixmio because I noticed that at weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations, guests capture so many amazing moments, but most of those photos and videos never make it back to the host.

Through my experience running a photobooth business, I saw this problem firsthand.

I wanted to create something simple where guests could scan a QR code, upload their photos and videos, and bring everyone's memories together in one place — without downloading an app or creating an account.

That's how Pixmio was born. My goal is to make sharing event memories effortless and accessible to everyone, anywhere in the world.

Who hunted PixMio?

PixMio was hunted by Viene Taylor. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
