Hi Product Hunt! We built PixelScan to solve a small but persistent frustration: sometimes the text you need is visible on your screen, but there’s no way to select or copy it. With PixelScan, you draw a region around the text and Apple Vision OCR extracts it locally on your Mac. I’d love to hear where this would be useful in your workflow, and what kinds of on-screen text you find yourself needing to copy. I removed the price from the description so it can stay focused on what makes the launch different.
