Pıtır
Hatch a tiny gecko and keep it fed with your habits
Pıtır is an iPhone habit tracker with a tiny gecko that hatches from the egg you pick. It sleeps from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m., gets grumpy if you wake it and cheers up when you pet it. Finish your water and it drinks; finish your reading and it opens a book. Each finished habit earns 10 XP for its snacks and drinks, and gold, earned day by day, buys outfits and furniture. Classic and Soft looks are free; Anime and Jelly come with Pro. It has widgets and Live Activities and works with Apple Health.
Hi Product Hunt,
Like a lot of us, I grew up raising tiny virtual pets and trying to keep them alive. I wanted that feeling for habits: when a little friend is counting on you, it's easier to keep going.
Pıtır is a habit tracker with a gecko in it, and version 2.0 is out on the App Store. Pick one of 12 eggs and it hatches. It sleeps from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.; tap it awake and it stays grumpy for up to 10 minutes, or until you pet it. After a day and a half away it greets you a little sad, until you pet it, feed it or finish a habit.
Finish your water and it grabs a glass and drinks; log your reading and it opens a book. Each finished habit earns 10 XP, and its Fullness and Water bars drop one point an hour, so XP goes on snacks and drinks. Gold comes day by day, up to 3 a day plus streak bonuses, for hats, outfits and furniture.
If both bars run empty, it lies down and turns back into its egg. Tap it and the same Pıtır hatches, with its name, color and clothes. You lose some XP; your gold stays.
Classic and Soft looks are free; Anime and Jelly come with Pro. It has widgets and Live Activities, can complete walks and runs from Apple Health, and comes in English and Turkish.
Which habit would you give your Pıtır first?
