What inspired me? I lost $200. A client said "I never approved that logo" after I delivered. I had WhatsApp voice notes but no proof. I knew other freelancers were going through the same.
What problem?
1. Buyers explain feedback without much clarity- "make it pop" with a voice note pointing nowhere.
2. Sellers have zero protection - no timestamped proof of approval, so chargebacks win.
How I solved it:
PinProof lets buyers TAP directly on the design to pin a comment exactly where they want change. Drag to highlight an area ▭. Sellers send work (image/video/link) and when buyer clicks APPROVE, they get a FINAL APPROVED DRAFT certificate with IP, timestamp + proof ID.
How it evolved:
Started as just pinning tool. Then I added area highlight after watching a buyer struggle to explain "this corner". Then I added the approval proof system - that's now our core. Added buyer/seller chat + usage tracking so both sides know their plan (7 days FREE unlimited to start).
