PingParrot
Alerts that won't stop until someone actually sees them.
PingParrot sends push, email, and SMS alerts that repeat and escalate until someone acknowledges them — built for on-call engineers who can't afford a missed page, and now for families who need to know a kid or aging parent is okay. Free for 3 devices, no credit card required.
Hey Product Hunt
I'm a system admin for two hospitals and I build this website and app because none of the ones currently on the market did what I needed this one to do, keep alerting until the page is acknowledged. We've missed pages from being in areas with out wifi or poor cell phone signal, this solves that by sending SMS, Email and app notifications, as soon as you regain any kind of signal you will be alerted.
The idea: most on-call tools treat "notification sent" as success. PingParrot treats "acknowledged" as success. It pushes a high-priority alert (the same category iOS gives hospitals for code alerts), repeats it on an interval you set, and automatically escalates to the next person if nobody responds. Push, email, and SMS all work together, so there's no single point of failure.
We also just launched a Family / Elder Care mode — same repeating-alert engine, reworded for reaching a kid whose phone is on silent, or confirming your mom took her medication, with automatic escalation to another family member if she doesn't respond.
3 devices are free forever, no card required. Would love feedback — especially on pricing, and on whether the family use case actually lands for you.
