Hey Product Hunt! I'm the maker of PingHarbor - and I built it because I've been burned by downtime one too many times. A few years back, I had a small SaaS project go down on a Friday night. Users started hitting my site, saw errors, and left. I didn't find out until Monday morning when I saw the support emails pile up. I was running UptimeRobot on a 5-minute free plan. By the time it fired an alert, the damage was done. And the alert? Went to an email I wasn't watching over the weekend. I wanted something that felt less like a cobbled-together free tier and more like a proper tool — one I'd actually trust to have my back. That's PingHarbor. A few things I built that I haven't seen done cleanly together in one place at this price point: - MCP integration so you can query your uptime data directly from Claude or any AI tool - 1-minute check intervals even on the paid plan (€15/mo), not just as a premium add-on - Heartbeat monitoring for cron jobs and background tasks — the silent failures that kill SLAs - SSL certificate expiry alerts at 30, 14, 7, 3, and 1 day before they go — because I've seen teams scramble at 2am over an expired cert - Multi-region checks from 5+ locations with an interactive world map so you can see if it's a regional CDN issue or a full outage - Public status pages you can host on your own domain The nautical theme (Captain Cole sends his regards) is a bit of fun in what is otherwise a fairly dry category. But mostly I just wanted a tool that was honest about what it does and didn't require 3 pricing page visits to figure out. I'm actively developing PingHarbor. Current roadmap includes on-call schedules, phone call alerts, and incident subscriptions for status pages. What's the most painful monitoring gap you've run into? I'm genuinely curious - and I'll build it if it makes sense.
