🤗 I'm thrilled to announce the first release of PikaTorrent! ⚡
I believe that existing BitTorrent clients often have unnecessarily complex user interfaces and lack appeal.
Additionally, I needed a way to manage my BitTorrent downloads remotely. With current BitTorrent clients, this required setting up a domain name, a web server, TLS certificates, and so on... But with PikaTorrent, thanks to WebRTC, we can establish peer-to-peer connections across desktop, mobile, and even the web!
PikaTorrent uses "libtransmission," the same engine used by Transmission. As a result, you can expect low CPU/memory usage and fast downloads speed.
