Joyful code review

Hey there, this is @mdo from the Pierre team! We've been hard at work on our new public beta and now it's finally here. To celebrate the launch, we have a new psychotic marketing page—something COMPLETELY different than nearly every SaaS website out there. Go get yourself some joyful code review. In the next decade, engineers are going to write more code then they’ve ever written in their entire lives (this is already happening, but its probably going to get crazier), whether it's their own or with AI tools. And as an extension of this, we’re going to be *reviewing* more code than ever before. And reviewing code is just not fun. No one really likes it. The tools we’ve been using for code review, collaboration, commenting on, reviewing, building, shipping, talking about, etc. haven’t really changed in the last 15 years. We hope this changes. And starting today, Pierre is now open for signups. Special thanks to the CRV, o1a, and all of our amazing (very patient) investors—but MOST OF ALL to all of our EARLY USERS, ALPHA TESTERS, and FRIENDS.

Who hunted Pierre?

Pierre was hunted by Mark Otto. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
