Hi everyone! I built PicOne because I was tired of image uploaders that require a full app window, run heavy background processes, or need third-party libraries. PicOne lives entirely in your macOS menu bar — no Dock icon, no main window. You can upload images via drag & drop, clipboard paste, file picker, or Finder right-click, all within a fully sandboxed MAS app. I hand-implemented SigV4 signing for S3-compatible providers (AWS, R2, COS, MinIO), a custom V1 signer for Alibaba OSS, plus Qiniu, Upyun, Imgur, SM.MS, WebDAV, local folder, and a fully templated custom host. Zero third-party dependencies. Happy to answer any questions! You can also reach me at [email protected]

Who hunted PicOne?

PicOne was hunted by Chenyang Li. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
