Hello PH~~ I work from home and missed my dog (깜이, pictured) more than I expected to. Built PetMood over a few weekends to give myself a 3-second visit from him every 30 minutes — automatically, no clicks needed. A few notes on the build: • Background removal runs entirely on-device (transformers.js + RMBG-1.4 in WASM). No server, no upload. • The 18 animations are pure CSS/Canvas — I spent way too long on the "split heart" kiss animation • Manifest V3, ~50KB content script, ~10KB service worker • It works with literally any image — your pet, your face, your friend's cat. People have been creative. Happy to answer anything about the local AI pipeline, the animations, Chrome extension review hell, or why I removed every feature I originally planned (turns out simple won).
