I built PetLover because managing my dog's health records was a mess — a paper vaccine booklet, blurry phone photos of vet invoices, and a WhatsApp thread with my family every time someone needed to remember "when was her last shot again?" There was no single source of truth, and definitely nothing smart about any of it.
So I built one. Scan any vaccine card or vet document and Gemini reads it and turns it into a structured health record — no manual typing. From there, Gemini keeps working in the background: as new records come in, it generates personalized insights (a vaccine coming due, a weight trend worth watching) in real time, not just from a one-time scan.
The project evolved a lot along the way — it started as "just a scanner," then became a shared family passport (multiple people, multiple pets, one source of truth), then grew weather-safety alerts after a heat-wave scare with my own dog, and a vet-ready export so I'm not fumbling through my phone at the clinic.
It's free for life if you have one pet — I wanted the core value (a real health record, not another subscription wall) to be accessible to everyone first.
