I'm daniel, and petiteimg is a small tool I built because I kept bouncing between different sites just to shrink, resize or convert images for client websites.
So I made one place that does it all: drop a JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF, pick compress, resize, crop or convert, and you're done. Free in the browser, no signup needed.
Under the hood it's written in Rust and runs on Google Cloud Run, so processing is fast and scales on its own. The same engine powers the API, with batch processing and files up to 100MB, for anyone who wants to plug image optimization into their app or pipeline.
