PetFeeder
Feed your pet by getting things done
PetFeeder is a to-do list where your virtual pet's mood and growth depend on your task completion. Miss tasks → pet gets hungry. Stay consistent → pet grows. Most apps use streaks. PetFeeder uses responsibility a stronger motivator. Built-in Pomodoro timer, calendar view, reminders, and minimal mode (no pet, just tasks). Free. No ads. No paywall.
I couldn’t stick to any productivity app so I built one that depends on me.
I tried everything.
Streaks broke. Points meant nothing.
Miss one day quit entirely.
So I tried a different approach:
A to-do list where something actually depends on you.
Complete tasks → your pet gets fed and grows
Ignore them → it gets hungry.
Sounds simple, but that small sense of responsibility worked better than any system I’ve tried.
I’m Himmet, a 20yo Ceng student from Turkey.
This is my first app — built solo with React Native, Expo, and Firebase while studying full-time.
Would genuinely love brutal feedback on anything: concept, UX, or what feels off.
