I built this for video editors and VFX artists, not for companies buying seats. Frame.io is a team review tool. Vimeo hosts. Perframe is one workspace: host the cut, send a client a link they can open, publish a showcase when you want one.
A few things I cared about while building it:
- Uploads that resume when the connection drops
- A link a client will actually open, watch with no account, sign in only to comment
- Password, expiry, and download on the link
- Your v3 next to your v4
- Captions and chapters on the cut
- A public profile in the same product, not a second app
- Nothing public until you publish
