Hi Product Hunt community!
I’m thrilled to share PercentAnimation, my first open-source Java library.
I built this because I wanted a way to display smooth, real-time progress tracking and loading state animations without adding bloated third-party dependencies.
PercentAnimation is written in pure Java (zero dependencies) and leverages native ANSI escape codes to render vibrant, dynamic color gradients and asynchronous spinners directly in the terminal. Getting it ready for Maven Central was quite a journey-especially dealing with local GPG configurations and path alignment, but it’s fully verified and live.
