My mind shouts “stay away from me!”
Until one day I stopped and went through my emails and saw for myself the files I had been getting and sending.
They are the illustrations I commissioned, they are the leases I signed, they are the photos I took, they are the presentations I created…
They are hours and hours of hard work, they are my hopes and dreams, they are quite literally… my life. 🤯
It was that moment I realized, it’s not the files that are broken, it’s “file sharing” that is broken.
It’s those soulless icons within an email, those generic Google Drive/DocSend/Dropbox links I had been getting that sucked the spirit out of it.
After all, when the logos you poured your heart and sweat get compressed into a zip, how much cool is left there?
