Pelton
An open-source/foss email client that respects your privacy
Pelton is a free and open-source email client written in Go. Zero telemetry, your data stays local, cross-platform.
Hey everyone 👋
I'm the maker of Pelton, an open-source, GPL-3.0 email client built with Go, Wails, and Svelte.
I built it because I wanted an email client that doesn't phone home, doesn't lock you into a specific provider's ecosystem, and that I could actually audit myself. I'd love feedback from people who care about owning their inbox.
A few things I'm especially curious about:
What's missing from your current email client that made you consider switching?
Any dealbreakers for a self-hosted or privacy-focused setup?
I'd love to hear some Feature requests, bug reports, or feedback!
Happy to answer anything about the tech stack, licensing, or roadmap. Thanks for checking it out!
