Hi Product Hunt, I’m Volkan Tezkan, the solo iOS developer and UX/UI designer behind PedalQuest. I’ve always felt that most cycling trackers focus too much on speed and personal records, which can sometimes take the fun out of casual or exploratory rides. I wanted to build something different—an app that turns your city into a real-world game board where strategy and exploration matter just as much as stamina. With PedalQuest, you don't just track your route; you conquer map grids and build your territory. I’ve just rolled out a major update that takes the gamification and user experience to the next level. Here is what’s new: Social Share Studio: A sleek, glassmorphic dark UI generator to export Strava-style cards of your conquered grids, area, and XP for Instagram or Twitter. Apple Watch Integration: Track your live speed, distance, and time right from your wrist. Offline Territory Sync: Don’t worry about losing cell service; your claimed grids will queue safely offline and sync automatically. Enhanced Ride Safety: Added hold-to-stop mechanisms to prevent accidental touches and voice guidance so you can keep your eyes on the road. I built the entire app natively using SwiftUI, heavily focusing on a smooth UI and battery efficiency for those long rides. I would absolutely love to hear your feedback, thoughts on the UI, or answer any questions you might have about the technical side of the map integration. Thank you so much for checking it out, and happy riding!
