Hi Product Hunt 👋 We're Flip Labs, the small team behind Payflip. The question that started all of this: why do you need to know where someone's money lives before you can pay them? Pay a friend abroad and you're asking for an IBAN or a SWIFT code. Pay them in crypto and you're asking for a wallet address, then checking which network, then checking which token. One wrong character and the money is gone. Meanwhile you already know the one thing that actually matters, which is who you want to pay. So that's what Payflip is built around. You pay the person, not the account. How it works Pick the person by something you already have on them: email, @handle, phone number, or scan their QR. Type the amount. Send. If they're on Payflip, it lands in their balance. If they're not, you can still pay them. The money waits, and they claim it when they join. If nobody ever claims it, it comes back to you on its own. No ticket, no chasing. You can even start a payment before you have an account. We spin up a temporary wallet in the background and you fund it when you're ready to finish. What's underneath Payflip runs on USDC and USDT across the networks we support, but you should rarely have to think about which one. You see one balance. Top up with a card through MoonPay where it's available, or send supported stablecoins straight to your Payflip wallet. It's non-custodial. The wallet is yours. We can't move your balance or freeze it. Stablecoins, wallets, networks and routing are the plumbing. Our job is to keep the plumbing out of your way. The receiver picks how. We handle the middle. Over time that means more identities, more ways to pay in and more ways to pay out, without the app getting any harder to use.
