PaycheckForge
Transparent paycheck math for every US state
PaycheckForge turns gross pay into a transparent 2026 take-home estimate across all 50 states and D.C. Explore salary ranges, compare W-2 vs 1099, model raises, overtime and employer cost, and inspect the assumptions behind every result. Calculations are deterministic; optional AI only explains outputs. Core tools are free and require no account.
I built PaycheckForge because most paycheck calculators give a number without showing how they got there. The goal was to make the assumptions visible: federal and state rates, pay frequency, deductions, selected local choices, and important limits. The calculation engine is deterministic; AI is optional and only explains results. I'd love feedback from people comparing offers, planning a move, or budgeting a hire—especially on where the explanation still feels unclear.
