Patterns

Top comment

I built Patterns because OCD tracking tools often felt either too clinical, too generic, or too tied to accounts and cloud sync. Patterns is meant to be a calm, private place to notice loops: obsessions, compulsions, triggers, distress, mood, and ERP exposure practice. Everything stays local on your device, with no accounts or cloud uploads. It started as a simple journal and grew into a cross-platform tool for iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and Linux. I’d love feedback from people who journal, practice ERP, support someone with OCD, or care about private mental health tools.

Who hunted Patterns?

Patterns was hunted by Aftaab Siddiqui. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
