Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Chris, co-founder and CTO of Pathr. We started building Pathr because we believe marine navigation technology should be smarter, more accessible, and easier to use. Boaters have traditionally had to rely on expensive chartplotters, complicated navigation software, or multiple apps just to get the information they need on the water. We wanted to change that. Pathr brings together depth-aware automatic routing, nautical charts, live AIS vessel tracking, weather, tides, and offline navigation in a single app for iOS and Android. But navigation is just the beginning. We're also building HelmLink, hardware that connects directly to a boat's NMEA 2000 network, opening the door to connected vessels, remote monitoring, fleet management, and more intelligent boating experiences. Our long-term vision is to build a connected marine technology platform that makes boating safer and more accessible for everyone.
