Hey Product Hunt 👋
I kept getting bitten by the same thing: an API I depended on would change quietly, no formal spec, no real changelog, and my code would just break in production.
So I built Patch. It's an open source AI agent that watches the APIs and npm dependencies your project depends on. When something changes, instead of just telling you, it scans your codebase for every affected call site, generates a fix, validates it against your own tests, and opens a pull request.
Fix generation is a small agent loop, not a single guess: propose a patch, run it through your type checker and tests, and if it fails, feed the real error back and retry, up to three times, before falling back to an Issue instead of a bad PR. Nothing ever merges automatically.
You bring your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, Patch never sees or stores it.
It's Apache-2.0 licensed and still early. TypeScript/JavaScript today, more languages planned.
