Passinote
A canvas for your notes.
Most note apps treat a quick thought the same as a two-page document. Passinote doesn't. Sticky notes for fast captures, A4 notes for long form writing, both living on a visual canvas instead of a linear list. No save button, no folder hunting, no friction. Just open, type, and stick. The canvas replaces file structure entirely. It's the first note app that uses a visual hierarchy rather than a standard linear folder structure. Its fun without sacrificing speed or simplicity.

Who hunted Passinote?
Passinote was hunted by PassiProductions. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. Hey everyone, Passi here, the solo developer behind Passinote.
The idea came from a simple frustration: every note app I tried either felt too heavy for a quick thought or too bare for a proper document. I wanted something that separated the two visually, saved automatically, and was genuinely enjoyable to open.
The core mechanic, typing on a virtual typewriter and dragging the note onto a canvas, started as a fun experiment and ended up being the thing I couldn't stop using. The canvas replacing folder structure was the other big bet. Visual hierarchy instead of nested lists just made more sense to my brain. Hopefully you can relate.
On privacy: notes are stored on Firebase, encrypted in transit and at rest on Google's servers. No ads, no selling data, no third party trackers. Just your notes, saved securely. Full transparency.
Still early days. Quick mode, sticky and A4 notes, PDF export, and Firebase sync are all live. Zones, AI editor, and mobile are next.
Would love to hear if this resonates with anyone else who's felt the same friction, and brutally honest feedback is very welcome.
