I built PassCrypt after the LastPass 2022 breach kept me up at night.
25 million people had their vaults stolen - and because LastPass used PBKDF2 hashing, attackers could brute-force weak master passwords with GPU rigs. Some vaults were cracked within days.
The problem isn't that LastPass got hacked. Every company gets hacked eventually. The problem is that their architecture made the stolen data useful to attackers.
So I built the opposite:
🔐 AES-256-GCM encryption happens entirely in your browser before upload - the server only ever sees ciphertext.
⚙️ Argon2id KDF (winner of the Password Hashing Competition) with 64MB memory allocation - GPU and ASIC attacks are computationally infeasible.
🔑 Zero third-party npm security packages - only native WebCrypto API.
🌍 PayPal accepted from 200+ countries (~$12/yr individual).

If our servers get hacked tomorrow, attackers get encrypted garbage. That's not a marketing claim. That's math.
