PartPlanner
Plan builds and track profit on every PC you flip
PartPlanner helps PC builders, refurbishers, resellers, and small teams track parts, builds, cost basis, and profit from inventory through sale.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Taz, a developer by trade who got into flipping PCs on the side.
Two things kept tripping me up. First, I'd end up with a pile of parts
from broken lots and part-outs and lose track of what I actually owned.
Second, even when I knew, I couldn't easily see which builds I could
make from those parts that would actually sell for a profit. I was
juggling it all in a spreadsheet that broke every time I touched it.
PartPlanner is what I built to replace that spreadsheet.
It does two jobs that work together:
• Track your parts. Everything you own in one place, so you always know
what's on the shelf instead of rediscovering it in a box.
• Plan builds to flip. Combine those parts into builds and see the real
margin before you commit: component costs, refurb parts, fees, and
your target resale price, all in one view.
When the numbers don't work, you see it before you buy, not after.
A few things worth knowing:
• Built for flippers and resellers, not DIY builders. Every feature is
about inventory, margin and turnover, not RGB.
• NZ-based and bootstrapped, so feedback from real flippers genuinely
shapes what ships next.
• Free to start at https://partplanner.io, no card needed.
If you flip PCs, I'd love to know: what's the messiest part of your
process right now, tracking stock or pricing the build? I'll be around
all day answering everything.
Thanks for taking a look 🙏
