PaperSeek
AI-powered literature search Agent.
Describe a research question once. PaperSeek generates database queries, calibrates result counts, expands citation links, ranks candidate papers, and exports a reviewable paper list. An open-source literature-search workflow for topic exploration, reviews, interdisciplinary discovery, and daily paper tracking.
Hi Product Hunt!
I built PaperSeek, an open-source literature search workflow for researchers who often struggle with one problem: not finding papers, but knowing whether their search is accurate and comprehensive.
PaperSeek turns a natural-language research question into a transparent, iterative search process. It extracts key concepts, generates executable search queries, tests and refines them, builds a candidate literature pool, ranks papers with relevance reasons, expands results through citation links via OpenAlex, and exports everything as CSV or JSON for later use in Zotero, Excel, Notion, or other research tools.
I built it because my own literature search process used to live across prompts, browser tabs, databases, and spreadsheets. PaperSeek makes that workflow visible, reviewable, and reusable.
It is not meant to replace scholarly judgment. It is meant to reduce mechanical search labor and help researchers inspect the path from question to literature pool.
Would love feedback, issues, and suggestions from researchers, students, and anyone working on research workflows.
