PaperPlane
Private file sharing, zero setup. No cloud. Just send it!
PaperPlane is a fully offline P2P file transfer app for Android. Zero accounts, zero cloud, zero data collection — files move directly between devices over local WiFi, so your only limit is your wifi speed. What stands out: a stripped-down UI designed for non-technical users, chunked transfers with phase-based timeout handling that eliminate drops on 30MB+ files, and the fact that it was built solo, end-to-end, by a second-year CS student.
Released my first app (I have been developing for sometime) on playstore, and my main excercise was making the perfect UI. Thus PaperPlane was born.
Currently there is no desktop app to pair with PaperPlane, but hey, if it gets popular enough, I will start earnestly working on a desktop app for Linux and Windows.
But mainly it was just show my progress and hear people's thoughts on my app, PaperPlane.
