I built Papera because I have a graveyard of abandoned systems. A
Notion workspace that became 400 half-finished pages I was scared to
open. A bullet journal that died around the 12th of January.
Every tool kept asking me to build the thing before I could use the
Thing — and the moment setup starts feeling like work, the system's
already lost.
The realization that became Papera: I didn't want a better blank
page. I wanted to skip the blank page entirely.
So Papera works backwards. You type what you need — "weekly review,"
"ADHD focus journal," "sprint planning" — and the AI composes a
full two-page spread in seconds: real paper texture, headings, and
live blocks (kanban you drag, habit trackers you check), placed and
ready to write in.
Don't like it? Regenerate. Same words, fresh
layout — novelty on demand, which is the thing that finally kept me
from quitting a system.
