PaneScale
Claude Code, Codex and 8 more coding agents in one window
PaneScale is a desktop app that runs Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and seven more coding agents side by side in one resizable grid. You see at a glance which agent is working, which one is done and which one is waiting for you. Every agent can get its own Git worktree, one prompt can go to every pane, and Claude Code, Codex and Kimi sessions switch to a chat view where approvals are buttons. Plan limits and reset times stay in view. Runs locally, no account. Free in early access.
Hi everyone 👋
I build apps on my own, and these days most of my coding goes through agents. Claude Code in one terminal, Codex in the next, sometimes Gemini or Kimi as well, often for two or three projects at once.
The agents were never the problem. Everything around them was. An agent would sit there waiting for a "yes" in a tab I hadn't looked at. Claude would hit its 5-hour limit halfway through a refactor. Two agents would edit the same file. And I usually found out a plan was used up when nothing worked anymore.
So I built PaneScale for myself. It puts all your coding CLIs into one window, in a grid you can resize however you like. The agents run exactly like they do in your terminal. PaneScale just sits around them and keeps track.
I've used it every day for the last six months. Whenever something annoyed me or went wrong, it turned into a feature, and that's how most of what's in there came about:
- you see at a glance which agent is working, which one is done and which one is waiting for you
- Claude Code, Codex and Kimi sessions can switch to a chat view and back. Same session, and approvals become real buttons
- Dispatch: type a prompt once and send it to every pane
- each agent can work in its own Git worktree, so nothing touches your branch until you merge it
- when an agent runs into its limit, another one takes over with a short brief of what was already done
- checkpoints before file-editing turns in Chat, Agent mode and automation, so you can rewind them. Files you changed yourself afterwards stay as they are
- usage and reset times of your Claude and Codex plans, plus daily budgets that really stop a run
- Point & Fix: click an element in your running app and just say what should change
- an Account Map that remembers which project runs on which service and which login
Everything runs locally. There's no account, and your code only goes to the providers your CLIs already talk to. It's built with Rust and Tauri, and the Windows installer is about 8 MB.
PaneScale is free during early access, on Windows, macOS and Linux. It's early, so there will be rough edges. If something breaks, tell me here and I'll fix it.
I'd love to hear how you run your agents today. Terminal tabs, tmux, inside the editor? And what still gets in your way?

Who hunted PaneScale?
PaneScale was hunted by Sherif Mahmoud. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
