Hi Product Hunt! I'm Samarth, the solo developer behind Pallet.
Here's a small confession that led to this app: I like waiting for packages. The anticipation is genuinely fun. Something you picked out is out there, crossing oceans, changing hands, getting closer. Package tracking has always been treated as a utility category: a database row, a status string, an interface nobody enjoyed looking at.
So I built a better way to track, starting with design. I wanted an app you'd actually look forward to opening while you wait:
- Designed like the thing it tracks. Every tracking number is given its own tactile, reactive shipping label, set in an interface that puts a delivery's journey front and center.
- Guided Tours (my personal favorite). Replay the journey on the map, learn about the places your package stopped along the way, and even drop down to street level to see it for yourself.
- A map worth opening. Choose your favorite from three different map styles. Minimal with pure terrain data, 2D Standard, and Satellite.
But I didn't want Pallet to be just a pretty face. A tracker earns its place by genuinely helping while you wait:
- Smart Window. Most apps repackage the same vague date you'd get on the carrier's site. Pallet always shows you the most useful estimate it can: either its own Smart Window, which narrows a vague "by 9 PM" into a realistic window like "4:15–6:45 PM," or the carrier's own prediction when that's the better signal.
- Route insights. Pallet understands the route your package traveled, not just its latest scan. It'll flag when a package is lingering unusually long at a hub, tell you what customs typically does to a trip like yours, notice when your delivery took the scenic route instead of the direct one, and show you how much your out-for-delivery times swing from day to day. On busier routes you'll also see peer comparisons, like finding out your package finished the New Jersey-to-Austin run faster than most that made the same trip before it.
- Signature warnings. If a delivery is going to need a signature, Pallet tells you ahead of time, so your package doesn't ride back to the depot while you're in the shower.
- Smart merge. One journey, not three tracking numbers. When an international carrier hands your order to a local one for the last mile, Pallet stitches the legs into a single timeline instead of losing the thread. Keeping updates frequent and information as rich as it can be.
- Built into iOS. Ask Siri where your package is, or pull any delivery up straight from Spotlight, without ever opening the app.
Pricing is simple: Amazon tracking is free and unlimited for everyone. Tracking more than one non-Amazon package requires Pro ($29.99/year, about $2.49/mo), which also unlocks themes, calendar sync, and deeper insights.
