Using sensors of the Apple Watch, it detects every shot you make and employs a Machine Learning model to identify each stroke type, offering detailed analysis previously available only to professionals, with cool stickers to share your workout on social media
Hello fellow creators!
I’m excited to introduce Padelio, an iOS app designed specifically for padel players, fairly popular among indie makers :). The idea for Padelio had been in my mind for some time, especially since padel workouts can’t be recorded on the Apple Watch, as Apple doesn’t include padel in their workout options. I saw a need for a tool that could fill this gap and provide players with detailed analysis of their game.
Padelio tracks your padel workouts using the advanced sensors of the Apple Watch and employs a Machine Learning model, built from scratch, to identify different stroke types. It distinguishes between backhand and forehand for each stroke type and records the acceleration of each stroke. This feature is particularly interesting for comparing the speed of viboras and smashes with your friends.
The social aspect of Padelio, featuring customizable stickers, came to me after noticing how people love to share their workout summaries for various sports on social media, such as running or cycling. However, there was no equivalent for padel. With Padelio, you can now share your padel achievements with your friends and the wider community in a fun and engaging way.
I can’t wait for you all to try Padelio and hear your feedback!

Who hunted Padelio?
Padelio was hunted by Marcos Sabarís. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
