I'm Carlos. I build apps, and Pact is the one I kept wanting to use myself.
The problem: I'd promise myself I'd run 3x a week, study, lay off the booze… and quietly stop a few weeks in, because nobody noticed either way. Tracking it alone in an app didn't change that. I needed witnesses, not a coach.
So Pact runs on social pressure instead of motivation. 3 to 10 friends agree on the same habit and duration. Every day each of you marks if you delivered. The streak belongs to the group. If anyone fails and doesn't spend a wildcard (you each get 2), everyone's streak resets to zero.
What it does NOT do: no "you got this 💪", no badges in isolation, no shaming notifications. Just the actual humans in your group.
