Packwork is a smart travel assistant that eliminates overweight baggage fees and the stress of forgetting gear. It instantly calculates your bag's weight on a visual grid based on real airline limits. It generates custom checklists for specific needs like pets or sports equipment, and auto-resets your list for the flight home. With weather-based suggestions, Lock Screen widgets, Dynamic Island support, and iCloud sync, Packwork guarantees a flawless packing experience.
When I looked at existing packing apps, I noticed most of them were visually uninspiring, boring to use, and just simple todo lists. This completely killed my desire to use them. That is why I came up with the idea to build an app that was not just checkboxes. I wanted something enjoyable to use and a bit gamified.
For the visual aspect, I wanted to use a grid system where you can drag items. This was a bit challenging due to limited screen space, but after working on it for a while, I think I managed to create a beautiful app.
