I’m Patrick, a Software Architect and—more importantly—a proud dad.
Like many parents, my partner and I quickly found ourselves drowning in the daily "mental load" of family life. Between school letters, changing schedules, doctors' appointments, and vital family documents scattered everywhere, the chaos was real.
I tried existing family organizers, but two things deeply bothered me:
They required internet access for everything (no fun in cellular dead zones).
They lacked data privacy, forcing me to upload sensitive family schedules and documents to unencrypted cloud servers.
So, I put my software architecture background to work and built Pack Planner—a privacy-first, offline-first family ecosystem designed to cut the mental load down to zero.
