Outglow
Daily AI visibility tracking for Romanian businesses
Outglow asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude the questions your customers actually ask, every day, and tells you whether your business gets named, ignored, or confused with someone else. Built for one market: Romania.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built Outglow after losing a client to a sentence I never saw. They asked ChatGPT which agency to hire, got three names, and mine wasn't one of them. I had no way to know that had happened, let alone why.
So Outglow does the boring part: every day it asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude the questions your customers actually ask, and shows you whether your business gets named, which competitor got named instead, and which pages the model quoted to get there.
One thing I should say up front: the app is in Romanian, and pricing is in lei. This launch page is the only part in English. That's on purpose. AI answers are local — the models recommend different businesses in Bucharest than in Berlin, and they read completely different sources to get there. I'd rather do one small market properly than every market badly.
Something I found while building it, which might be useful even if you never touch the product: I ran 500 real buying questions through ChatGPT, then ran the same searches on Google, and compared the businesses each one named. Only about 16% of the businesses ChatGPT recommends have their own site in Google's top 10 for the equivalent search. Both lists were roughly the same length, 1,269 businesses named by ChatGPT and 1,291 present in Google's top 10, but only 207 appeared in both.
It's one market, one day, one run per question, and I've written up the limitations honestly. But it was enough to convince me that ranking well and getting recommended are two different games.
Happy to answer anything, including the sceptical stuff. What would you want to see tracked?
