Outgathr
Plan gatherings people actually show up to
Group chats are where plans go to die. Forty messages in, nobody knows the time, who's coming, or who's bringing the ice. Outgathr keeps it in one place. You see who actually said yes. People claim what they're bringing, so nobody turns up with a third bag of buns. On the day you see who's on the way and when they'll arrive. Photos end up in one album, not everyone's camera roll. Six people at a BBQ or a public event with free tickets and QR check-in. Free. No paid tiers, no ticket fees.

Hi.
Outgathr came out of a get-together that almost didn't happen. Forty-odd messages, three different times floated, and on the day nobody knew who was actually coming or who was bringing what. We ended up with four bags of chips.
I spent a long time thinking that was an invite problem. It's not. Invites are the easy bit, every application does them fine. It's the week after that falls apart. Then 7pm arrives and everyone texts "where are you?" at once.
So that's what this is aimed at. Who actually said yes, not who tapped maybe three weeks ago. What people are bringing, claimed before the day. And on the day, who's on the way.
Two things I'll probably get argued with about.
It's free. No paid tier, no ticket fee, nothing per head. Most people organize something four times a year and charging them for that felt off.
Live location took longer than everything else combined, and almost all of it went on making the thing stop. It ends when you arrive, when the event ends, or when the window you picked runs out. You pick that window when you turn it on, not buried in settings somewhere after.
Plenty of it is still rough. I'd rather find that out here.
What's the part of organizing something that annoys you most? That's honestly the list I'm working from.
